Continues to live and work there.

Lloyd Mays Grew up on the east side of Brenham, Texas, in an area known as "Hog Branch".

He received his first paint by-number art kit on his sixth birthday.  As a child he loved words and found it as a way to express himself in a house full of 13 kids.
